1. ACS grade: Satisfies or surpasses American Chemical Society (ACS) purity standards. This grade, with =95% purity, is suitable for food, drug, medicinal use, ACS applications, and any procedures demanding strict quality specifications.


2. Reagent grade: Equal to ACS grade (=95%), it is safe for food, drug, or medicinal use, and apt for various laboratory and analytical uses.


3. USP grade: Complies with or exceeds United States Pharmacopeia (USP) requirements. Suitable for food, drug, medicinal use, and the majority of lab uses. However, it's advised to review USP methodology for ensuring grade appropriateness.

7. Technical grade: Used for commercial and industrial purposes, but not pure enough for food, drug, or medicinal use.
